EV , yes we know it's coming and cannot avoid it, all and well and good for companies like ARL in the long term.

Just been watching this,and made me think how the debate is picking up speed.

ie, Massive problem in many UK cities now with air pollution caused by vehicles, etc, etc.

But..........imagine you need to do a 250 mile plus journey in a EV, how long does it take to recharge an EV?

How many charging points are available off the main highway, not many as yet in the UK and those vehicles that are available require at least 2-5 hours recharge.


Car and battery manufacturers therefore have a tremendous challenge ahead.

I reckon that vehicles certainly that are wanting to travel long distances will have to be hybrid in nature, ie self charging via fuel cells etc or fossil fueled.

It's and interesting challenge and my dream would be to fill a tank with water and out comes hydrogen at the other end to power the engine with the aid of course of a cobalt/lithium battery
