Technical Support Manager

Redflow is looking for an experienced Technical Support Manager (TSM) to add to the expanding team responsible for energy storage installations support and management. This is a full-time job in a newly created position, reporting to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO). The role is Brisbane based and might require traveling within Australia and overseas.


The opportunity


The main duties of the TSM are:

• Assist Redflow-certified system integrators in identifying solutions for energy storage projects during the pre-installation phases which include design and procurement;
• Provide support for existing installations requiring updates, upgrades, improvements, and modifications of the current operations;
• Ongoing remote monitoring of key customer systems for diagnostic purposes, including proactive detection and handling of anomalies and deviations of the expected operating modes;
• ‘Level 2’ (escalation) technical support for system integrators and installers for problem issuing/handling/ticketing, advanced resolution and troubleshooting;
• Ongoing reporting to the CTO and the service team about performance, operations, alarms of new and existing installations;
• Proactively encourage communication and documentation exchange with system integrators to facilitate the design and the analysis of the installations;

Qualifications


The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications/attributes:

• Tertiary education in electrical or IT engineering with strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Demonstrated experience in renewable projects or energy storage installations or both;
• Demonstrated experience in help desk roles including entry handling, solving and reporting and documentation management;
• Have the drive and passion for the integration of energy storage solutions in the renewables market;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

The successful candidate will be fully trained in Redflow technology and will become a part of the Redflow team.
