looks like Ramsay gets half that (less other transaction costs) as Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care, is a 50-50 joint venture to be sold for 5.7 billion ringgit (US$1.21 billion).
Prices are down as back in Sept the AFR reported: "...Ramsay Health Care, and Malaysian conglomerate Sime Darby have shortlisted candidates for the sale of their hospital unit, which could fetch about $US1.5 billion ($2.3 billion) in a deal..."
