    Rio Tinto Limited (ASX:RIO) has awarded Diploma Group Limited (ASX:DGX) a $44 million contract to build accommodation at the miner’s Rocklea Palms fly in fly out accommodation project.



    Diploma Group will work on the design and construction of 244 single accommodation rooms including ensuites.



    It is the first contract Rio has awarded to Diploma. Work is scheduled to start straight away and be finished in May 2013.



    Rio Tinto booked a net profit of $6.7 billion the 2011 financial year.
