May 19 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1355 GMT on Thursday:
** Canadian investment firm Globalive Capital Inc said it has partnered with telecoms company Telus Corp T.TO to bid for Shaw Communications Inc's SJRb.TO wireless business, Freedom Mobile.
** McDonald's Corp MCD.N will sell its Russian business to its current licensee Alexander Govor and the restaurants would operate under a new brand, the world's largest burger chain said.
** Centennial Resource Development Inc and Colgate Energy Partners III LLC have agreed to a merger of equals, the companies said on Thursday, creating a $7 billion Permian Basin-focused U.S. oil and gas producer.
** Spirit Airlines SAVE.N urged shareholders to reject a hostile bid by JetBlue Airlines JBLU.O , saying it was "a cynical attempt to disrupt" its merger with Frontier ULCC.O .
** U.S. oil and gas company Centennial Resource Development Inc CDEV.O said it would merge with Colgate Energy Partners III LLC, creating a $7 billion Permian Basin focused firm.
** Russian businessman Vladimir Potanin's Interros holding company bought its 35% stake in lender TCS Group TCSq.L for several hundred million dollars, he said in an interview with the Interfax news agency.
** Woodside Petroleum's (WPL) shareholders voted for a merger with BHP Group's (BHP) petroleum arm to create a top 10 global independent oil and gas producer worth $40 billion, according to a vote count at the company's annual meeting.
** JX Nippon Mining & Metals Corp, a unit of Japan's oil and metals giant Eneos Holdings 5020.T , said its unit will sell its entire stake in South Korea's copper smelter LS-Nikko Copper to its partner LS Corp 006260.KS for 930 billion won ($727 million).
** Spanish telecom firm Telefonica TEF.MC said it agreed to sell a 7.08% stake in the media group Prisa PRS.MC , the publisher of El Pais newspaper, for 34 million euros.
** Canada's Brookfield Asset Management BAMa.TO has agreed to buy British home repair services firm HomeServe HSV.L for 4.08 billion pounds ($5.04 billion), as it looks to broaden its exposure to UK residential infrastructure investments.
** Canada's Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd TRQ.TO said on Wednesday Rio Tinto (RIO) , RIO.L will provide it interim debt funding of up to $400 million while it evaluates the Anglo-Australian miner's $2.7 billion bid for the company.
** Brazilian commercial real estate firm BR Properties SA BRPR3.SA said on Wednesday it reached a deal to sell part of its real estate portfolio to Brookfield Group for around 5.92 billion reais ($1.19 billion).
