June 28 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 index .FTSE is expected to open higher on Wednesday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.27%.

• BOOHOO: Boohoo BOOH.L urged Revolution Beauty REVB.L to call for its requisitioned general meeting "without further delay" to remove CEO Bob Holt, Finance Chief Elizabeth Lake and Chairman Derek Zissman from board.
• REVOLUTION BEAUTY: Revolution Beauty REVB.L announced re-appointment of CEO Bob Holt to the board of the UK-based beauty products retailer just after its annual meet, against shareholder Boohoo's requisition.
• CRYPTO: UK law can accommodate crypto assets by creating a new category of personal property that would include digital assets, independent body the Law Commission said.
• RIO TINTO: Rio Tinto (RIO) is setting up a battery test plant at an Australian research hub.
• SHELL: Shell's SHEL.L 227,900 barrel-per-day (bpd) Norco, Louisiana refinery is scheduled to return to normal production by Thursday, people familiar with plant operations said.
• BP: BP BP.L said operations were stabilized at its 435,000 barrel-per-day refinery in Whiting, Indiana.
• STRIKE: Senior doctors in England voted for industrial action over pay dispute, their union said.
• ODEY ASSET MANAGEMENT: Odey Asset Management (OAM) said in "advanced talks" to move Oliver Kelton and funds he previously managed at OAM to equities investment firm SW Mitchell Capital, according to investor letter seen by Reuters.
• OIL: Oil prices edged higher after industry data showed larger-than-expected drawdown of U.S. inventories, signalling robust demand from the world's biggest oil consumer, but the gains were limited by worries over interest rate hikes.
• GOLD: Gold held near three-month lows after strong U.S. economic readings offset bullion's traditional safe-haven status.
