This is massive news. Do not underestimate the importance of this. Russia are one of the most bullish countries for gold buying, also the Middle East and many Asian countries. They know that the more gold they buy, the more they diminish the super power status of the USA and their currency, especially now that it is not gold backed. These countries will be buying tonnes and tonnes of gold for many years ahead and to have this situated in Mali and protected by Russian backed Wagner forces, ensures that RSG have cheap and direct infrastructure for their gold production.
