    Ruralco Holdings Limited (ASX:RHL) chief financial officer Andrew Ferguson has stepped down and an external search is underway to find his replacement.


     


    Ruralco managing director John Maher announced Mr Ferguson's resignation which will be effective from July 30.


     


    The company has appointed an external agency to search for a new CFO and says the role will be covered internally until an appointment is made.


     


    Mr Ferguson was with Ruralco for 16 months.


     


    Ruralco produced a net profit of $1.6 million in the first half of the 2013 financial year.
