McDonald's are franchised (?) and each store does run its own promotions. For example the McDonalds in Northbridge, WA, once had a rewards card (traditional type) where on the 10th coffee you receive a free one.

It clearly stated "only valid at McDonalds, Northbridge, Address"

So I'd say Rewardle platform is not being "rolled out" across all McDonald's stores as is being suggested.
