The forecast of recommencing wharf operations in Q3 FY25 allows plenty of wriggle room.
Their engineering ability and funds for the task are not in doubt.
Meanwhile, the outage increases pressure on S32's 40% JV partner Anglo American - no cashflow, capex obligations and a stated wish to sell out.
We don't know the extent of S32's insurances. All will be revealed eventually.
