all sort of strange for an old timer like watso ..
as a kid we all got measles, chicken pox and mumps... watso (just like every other kid) got measles and chicken pox - and despite the parents best endevours to expose watso to mumps, he never got afflicted with the disease . apparently it was better to get the mumps as a kid, than as an adult .. probably the same as for chicken pox and measles .
watso wonders what the death rate for measles was when he was a kid - .
one thing that watso knows/recalls is that some people had polio - and vaccination has wiped out polio .
anyway watso was 100% happy for his children to be vaccinated against all sorts of stuff - and they are healthy
