News: Sandfire awards $12M contract to GR

    Sandfire Resources NL (ASX:SFR) has awarded GR Engineering Services Limited (ASX:GNG) a $12 million contract for work on its DeGrussa Copper-Gold Project in Western Australia.



    The engineering procurement and construction contract is for the paste backfill plant and is due to be completed at the end of this year. 



    Sandfire awarded Qube Logistics Holdings Limited (ASX:QUB) a $120 million haulage and port services contract at DeGrussa last month.  



    Sandfire posted a net loss of $19.5 million in the first half of the 2012 financial year.
