    Canadian dairy giant Saputo Inc has lifted its stake in Warrnambool Cheese & Butter Factory Co (ASX:WCB) again.


     


    Warrnambool says Saputo has increased its stake to 26.445 per cent, from 21.392 per cent.


     


    It comes after Saputo increased its stake twice last week.


     


    Saputo says it’s extended the offer period to close at 7pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time on January 22.


     


    Warrnambool Cheese & Butter Factory generated a net profit of $7.5 million in fiscal 2013.
