Bega not very attractive to MG. Last thing it needs is another factory in the Goulburn Valley and a packing shed in Bega.
Gosh! The ACCC needs to be hung and quartered IMO. Under the guise of miss represented competition they have protected local farmers wanting to invest in their own industry from, of all people - Themselves!
Yes, we are a lucky country managed by second rate people who share our luck around.
Anyway, from an industry perspective, the best thing a WCB farmer can do is sell their milk to the one remaining co-operative. I already know of some who have called MG to come around and sign them up.
I respectfully hope many more will do the same.
Saputo will soon learn a deregulated industry isn't like doing business back 'ome.
