I am still not entirely sure why we need to sell to anyone? If this is around funding, then funding is available. We know this because others have managed to get funding for this asset (Gwalia).
Make up your own decision - but this doesn't just need to be either a GMD or SLR deal. Stockholders get to decide whether they vote the Genesis deal up or down.
That aside - when opportunities present that represent better outcomes for shareholders then it's incumbent upon those who are paid to do so to ensure shareholders get the best deal. That may well take long longer to review options and it may result in break fees being paid.
