This is nothing like RSG. Resolute had massive debt overhang and high costs (for west africa) but a very decent mine on the cusp of positive cash flow with spot under $1800 (aisc $1450) when raising capital. They have expanding margins and growth potential out of syama sulphides.
The SBM announcement glaringly lacks any costs across the board. They're processing 0.5g stockpiles at Atlantic at a loss ffs. Do you guys understand mining or cost in general? That mine is toast, It's done. They only have simibri with any future potential the question is..how much is it going to cost?
Regardless the price will rise today due to GDX up 5% overnight, not because of any stock specific reasons.
