Management overextended themselves, paying far too much for 2 overseas mines that were running at loss, took their eyes off the GOLDEN CHILD GWHALIA and ran down operations badly. SBM was heavily indebted and sold the GWHALIA operations to stave off liquidators.
But now in a fantastic position to make a bird of things if the management want to earn their pay.
