Hmmm. A quick regression analysis of the last 7 days data points of infections available from the abc gives a growth rate of 2.5 times per week... There is significant uncertainty here though, 95% confidence ranges place it between 1.5 times per week and over 4 times per week. But even the lower case of 50% additional new cases per week, if sustained, is too high for social distancing to continue to be eased... unless our testing and tracking capabilities improve markedly.
Not the figures I wanted to see anyway. Not sure if I will act on them today, but if they are confirmed again with tonight's results I might be better off reducing exposure again I think. Its certainly playing against my reasons for buying and holding SCG in the short term
