    Yeah I agree with you totally. I'm just not comfortable holding 100% cash anymore because I see inflationary risks around the corner with all the money printing going on - what I'm not certain of is whether that will manifest as regular inflation or more of the same asset price inflation we have witnessed the past decade. So I've been trying to pick some targets that are covering for both possibilities.

    Regarding the US, I think we are economically more closely linked to China. US recession does cause credit freezes, but thats about the worst of it for us.

    So yeah, now I'm 20% invested and will be spreading my buying over the next 12 months until I'm back up to the 120% invested (I consider this sensibly leveraged) position I usually take in normal times. Of course if I see there is reason to reinvest sooner, or jump out again, I will.

    I am prepared to see SCG go back $1.50, my usual style is medium turn investments with capital gains potential of 30% pa.
