Segue Resources (ASX:SEG) is in the midst of a busy period in the Fraser Range Province in Western Australia, entering a joint venture over its Deralinya Project.

The agreement is with Segue's geological consultants, Omni GeoX, over the Deralinya Project in the southern portion of the highly prospective Fraser Range Province.

Omni can earn a 30% interest in the Deralinya Project by spending $130,000 on exploration activities.

Following completion of the earn-in, Segue and Omni will contribute to the JV in proportion to their interest, which will initially be 70%/30%, respectively.

The farm-in is expected to be completed during 3Q 2015.

Segue acquired a 100% interest in the Deralinya Project in November 2013, as part of its larger Fraser Range acquisitions.

It comprises 760km2 of granted exploration licences and sole applications and located 120 kilometres south of Sirius Resources' famed (ASX:SIR) Nova-Bollinger nickel-copper discovery.

Deralinya is also immediately adjacent to Mt Ridley Mines’ (ASX:MRD) Mt Ridley Project.


Plumridge Nickel Project Activity

Segue is raising up to $2.5 million to fund a highly watched exploration and drilling program at its Plumridge Nickel Project in the Fraser Range Province.

The company has identified 15 high priority exploration targets areas within two district-scale clusters.

Segue has submitted a Programme of Work (PoW) to the Department of Mines and Petroleum for an exploration program including aircore and reverse circulation drilling of each of the high priority exploration targets.

Subject to regulatory approval Segue plans on commencing drilling of the first 5-6 prioritised target areas after July 2015.

This followed a gravity survey covered the entire 3,150 square kilometre Plumridge Nickel Project.
