No I haven't bought any.
Thunderbird is a good story for the sand mining community of WA and even Australia. Tronox, Cristal, Doral and Iluka have been laying people off for years, so hopefully some are able to get work.
It's also great for every other state's GST - WA provide everything and then get milked (but hey, that's most West Aussies view).
But the real job for SFX starts now and it wont be an easy ride. Some will tell you that sand is an easy commodity to mine, that's far from the truth and like any mine in Australia, the achille's heel can be the opex costs.
The bigger the mine, the more remote - the harder it is.
Let's hope they get it right.
