I remember several years ago when CW owed Sigma huge amounts from "forward charging"
Caused problems for CW then.
May do so again.
Sigma have a fair bit of leverage on CW with this.
(A game of high stakes bluff with CW looking for some marginal concessions.)
Maybe one of the other wholesalers would pay Sigma out and take the debt over, but I doubt it.
So imo, the high probability is CW will stay with Sigma.

Went through pharmacy ( same years ) with Jack, the older brother.
Sam, and Mario Verrochi came along later.

I note it the AFR rich list just published, both Mario and Jack get a mention, ( Mario marginally richer and before Jack in the list) but no mention of Sam.

As others on this thread have said,
CW has changed the face of pharmacy.
Not for the better imo.

I'm thankfully , well and truly retired these days.
Glad to be out of the industry, and out of retailing.

As well as Amazon,
Coles / Woolworths forever pushing to break in.
They won't give up, and will eventually succeed,
with the next pharmacy agreement, or the one after, or........
And they will deal direct with suppliers and cut out the wholesalers.

Lots of head-winds.

From a share trading perspective:

I believe there is probably still some short term upside in Sigma's price.
I was tempted the other day.
But too many unknowns.
So ...not for me.
