I think the 75K production figure relates to Hong Kong and Singapore presentations given earlier than the Finance News Network interview on 19 May (see post No 6735146 on Hotcopper).

Looks like the big cross trade has taken out a major SLR seller. This plus todays market recovery have pulled SLR back up near its opening price. Somebody was willing to shell out $6m plus for SLR shares in one hit is a positive sign. SLR's more rapid share price decline than other goldies did not make much sense to me, except for some special circumstances and the reason for this has now been revealed.

It is possible that $1.57 will be SLR's low point unless global markets tank a lot more, which is what I think will happen over the next couple of months. The AUD POG is at a very good level.
