Not too bad today on market after the announcement - fairly large volume but hit nowhere near as hard as many would expect. There was a large transfer of 6.7M shares at 28cents, it'd be interesting to see who sold and who bought.
It's a little disappointing that the Madisson closure impact has been increased but long term it is much better to cut away the dead wood quickly than leave it hanging. A lot of companies just take the sit and wait approach hoping that things may turn around rather than facing facts and making the tough choices required to strengthen a company for the long term.
Hopefully now it can be full steam ahead for SIO. It's still almost impossible to put a fair value price on the company but hopefully all will be revealed on the 30th August.
