Sirius Resources (ASX:SIR) has announced it has acquired a 30% interest in an exploration licence in Western Australia from joint venture Ponton Minerals. The purchase will grant full access to all deposits, infrastructure and future discoveries in the Nova-Bollinger project, located south-east of Kalgoorlie. The deal was sealed with 70.6 million fully paid ordinary Sirius shares, $28 million in cash and a 0.5 per cent smelting royalty on future discoveries.
