News: Sirius Resources hits high grade primary gold beneath Baloo

A diamond drilling program by Sirius Resources (ASX:SIR) has intersected thick, high grade primary gold mineralisation beneath Baloo.

Baloo is a significant virgin gold discovery in the heart of Western Australia’s goldfields, and is located on a major gold mineralised trend known as the Zuleika shear zone.

Adding to the prospectivity of the area, Baloo is surrounded by more than 30 million ounces of gold endowment.

Key intercepts, which are considered to approximate true width, include:

- 7.6 metres at 8.35g/t gold from 125.2 metres;
- 9.8 metres at 4.97g/t gold from 111.5 metres; and
- 12.8 metres at 3.1g/t gold from 95.8 metres.

The news will keep coming, with two drill holes completed a further 40 metres south are awaiting results.
