  1. Sirius Resources (ASX:SIR) has used first pass reverse circulation drilling to identify Ni-Cu-Co enrichment and minor zones of magmatic sulphides at Centauri.

The targets are from its 70% owned Fraser Range Joint Venture, which is around 60 kilometres from Nova.

Adding to the prospectivity of the area, Centauri has a strong Ni-Cu soil anomaly 1km across & coincident EM anomaly, along with a gossan grading 0.6% Ni & 0.1% Cu –similar to that at Nova.

Similar zones were also identified in first pass drilling at Crux.

    Drilling program

At Centauri, eight wide spaced reverse circulation holes and 141 wide (100 metre) spaced shallow aircore holes identified an extensive subsurface zone of nickel, copper and cobalt enrichment within weathered mafic and ultramafic rocks.

At Crux, nine wide spaced reverse circulation holes and 175 wide spaced shallow aircore holes have also been drilled.

Results have only been received for three holes, but these already show a similar zone of enrichment, with hole SFRC0514 intersecting 28 metres at 0.57% nickel from 32 metres.

    Polar Bear

Exploration has also been ongoing at Polar Bear, with highlights including:

    - 12 metres at 0.87 g/t from 36 metres including 8 metres at 1.2 g/t from 40 metres in SPBA1545; and
    - 16 metres at 0.89 g/t from 32 metres including 7m at 1.48 g/t from 40 metres in SPBA1554.
