    Do you think it is possible that Appian didn't know anything about it and SLR caught them with their pants down? May explain why Appian came up with an offer for the company as soon as they heard SLR had been assigned the debt. For SLR to take on the first lien they didn't have to have prior negotiations with Appian, SLR were in the box seat.
