I encourage everyone to get their objection in early. The recent case at the Takeovers Panel ( involving Webster Limited and Winpar Holdings Ltd ) was based on just how quickly a determined 90% holder with compulsory acquisition intent moved when delayed mails meant that objections just fell short of the requisite 10% threshold.
The time is right now for any shareholders who want more than the 50 cents to get off their buts and make sure their objection is in the mail system.
