Aug 12 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1330 GMT on Friday:
** British paper and packaging firm Mondi MNDI.L agreed on Friday to sell its largest plant in Russia to an investment vehicle owned by Russian billionaire Viktor Kharitonin for 95 billion roubles ($1.6 billion).
** Barcelona have sold a 24.5% stake in their audiovisual studio to production company Orpheus Media for 100 million euros ($102.93 million), the LaLiga club said on Friday, as they look to raise more funds to register new players.
** Rogers Communications Inc RCIb.TO and Shaw Communications Inc SJRb.TO have finalised an agreement to sell Freedom Mobile to Videotron, a unit of Quebecor Inc QBRb.TO , the companies said on Friday, paving the way for a merger of Canada's biggest telecom companies.
** British asset manager abrdn ABDN.L has bought a stake in digital assets exchange Archax, amid a wider push by investors into crypto-assets despite a recent plunge in value.
** The founder of China's Huobi Group, which runs one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, is in talks with investors to sell his almost 60% stake in the exchange for over $1 billion, Bloomberg News reported.
** Australia's Stanmore Resources (SMR) said it would buy the remaining 20% stake in a metallurgical coal venture in Queensland from Japanese trading house Mitsui & Co 8031.T for $380 million.
