You are quite right of course. The opening price was 1.00 so the shares were scooped up in the opening auction for "S". Giving shareholders 10 minutes to consider a takeover bid, especially for those who have to take action (remove a sell order) in order to avoid accepting, is absolute bastardry. Takeovers are required to be done in an orderly manner, and this one was (very deliberately) not.
I have written to Slater and Gordon asking for a class action. Maybe other HCers could write to them too, and to other lawyers.
There has been a grave injustice.
