You guys can blame this all on me- I stuck in a cheeky sell order last week for a few units at $1.05 just to see if it would get hit and what would happen as everything was changing hands between 99.5c and $1.00
Looks like SMR management have attempted to ambush the Golden Investment manoeuvre at the 11th hour with a bonus issue, but the question is with shares changing hands at $1.02 is Golden allowed to buy on market above $1.00? And if they are how does it affect their on market bid? Is this possibly a last ditch effort to buy them some time before some sort of intervention by either ASIC or the Takeovers Panel?
