Before Christmas I visited a large, east-coast tyre distributor in which I am a shareholder.
One of the areas of business that was booming for this tyre supplier was the truck market.
This was especially the case for the agricultural sector which was said to be the most buoyant it had been in living memory after the widespread rains that had fallen across the eastern states.
This was borne out by first-hand observations during a few road trips I had made in December across NSW and QLD.
I can't recall the countryside looking so green and lush.
It certainly isn't harming demand for truck spares, so it would come as no surprise to me if SNL's revenue growth haven't accelerated in the December 2019 quarter.
