WELLINGTON, Aug 18 (Reuters) - Spark New Zealand Ltd (SPK) Thursday said its full-year net profit was slightly lower as total operating revenues dipped.
In a release to the stock exchange, the company said its full-year net profit in the year to June 30 was NZ$370 million($268.03 million), down 1.3 percent on the year. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization were NZ$986 million, up 2.5 percent on the year. Total operating revenues were NZ$3.497 billion, down 1.0 percent.
The company also confirmed an ordinary dividend of 22 NZ cents a share and a special dividend of 3 NZ cents a share for the current financial year.
Looking ahead, Spark said it expected zero to 3 percent growth in total revenues and zero to 2 percent growth in EBITDA. ($1 = 1.3805 New Zealand dollars)
