nobody is arguing that BNPL isn’t the new form of spend of financing Are they? We are just arguing who the next Facebook could be.

im backing the option thatbutukises the existing working model (which we call credit) and adapt it to the current trend (which we call BNPL)

visa and MasterCard do not compete with the banks or BNPL ... they facilitate them.

SPT wins in my opinion. Simply because they may have started late but they are utilising the existing models that will facilitate theirs success.

Don’t reinvent the wheel. Just make it spin a little faster.

The other most important fact that is mentioned is potential vs valuation. Most bnpl are billion dollar valuations with risks of bad debts - this will be pronounced as we enter the prolonged covud related economic crisis. I would estimate that the behemoths that utilize mc and visa are able to better withstand such gyrations. This is a tad different to the current bnpl stocks. Spt will be the lowest risk and one with greatest prospect due to its unique positioning.
