IMO The Chinese commercialisation rights is the big sticking point here. It might be possible if some perpetual royalty payments were attached at say 2-3% of revenue. I think the sino-phobia is justified given the poor record of legal protection and the worse level of governance and compliance in China. Extreme caution is advised when making deals where rule of law is not particularly well respected.
