"The EIA (U.S. Energy Information Administration) reported that US crude oil production fell by 20,000 bpd (barrels per day) to 8,766,000 bpd from December 16–23, 2016. Production fell 0.2% week-over-week and 4.7% year-over-year. Crude oil production fell for the second straight week."
Despite the rise in rig count (100% from the low?), the production fell 4.7% YoY - Food for thought.
