Day 4 , of a Cyclone watch in North Queensland.
Day 4 of over cast sky's and next to no wind.
Day 4 of every generator in the State running full blast to keep the lights on.
Guess what's burned in the Generators.
Yep its diesel. diesel , is today right now as I type , being burned in every generator in the State to keep Hospitals , Industry , Schools traffic lights etc all alive while we have over cast sky's.
The wind will blow shortly as the Low Pressure System moves closer.
Yes wind generators will be going full tilt as long as they stay up right.
Once the low moves through we will have flooding , road closure's , buildings washed away.
We will be using huge machinery to clean up the mess , rebuild the roads , repair the bridges , guess what these huge machines use to fire up their enormous engines , Yep Diesel.
I have the Gas Oven going now, and the Jenny out the back is going flat out , burning diesel , what else needs to be said.
We will have these Cyclones for at least an other 3 months.
Hope we don't run out of Gas and Diesel.
