    Sort of
"Australian Govt has now taken the position that gas is a necessary source of energy during the transition to renewables , which in reality means Australia will need gas for another thirty years at least. "

They have quietly been forced into a position of being " advised" they have no choice at any price to accept gas as part of the mix. All the govt policy is inflationary as future energy costs are higher due to lack of more gas in mix going forward.

There is a lot to play out here with green bent of Fed Govt and deals to be done.

Do the Govt want new party to deal with so they can use that as an excuse for higher energy costs - those evil Arabs ha ha!! It is not industry or owners fault but negligent govt policy and stupid biased policy in regards to effecient energy sources and not accepting gas even if it was to be green gas. Arabs woudl love a unlimited supply of " green Gas" as it would save them the trouble of doing it at home and have shorter shipping to Asia market and they would substitute Aussie green gas into their contracts . Crazy situation we will be exporting green zero gas and locally not allowed to use it !!! and all profits will end up in foreign hands - well done fed govt and state govts - you area bunch of absolute idiots
