    Stratum Metals (ASX:SXT) has been granted an ASX trading halt in relation to a new business partnership.

    The halt will last until the earlier of the announcement being made or the start of trade on Monday, 17th August 2015.

    In the June 2015 Quarter, the company signed an exclusive option agreement to acquire electricity retailer Locality Planning Energy Pty Ltd.

    LPE holds one of just 23 active small customer energy retail authorisations from the Australian Energy Regulator.
