Their foundation to date has spent ~ US$2 Billion - 'to control, eliminate and ultimately eradicate malaria'. The cost of Artimist could be ~ < 5% of what they have spent to date (depending on the sale $ negotiated). The foundation with their direct involvement in affected countries, could speed up the government approval process and ensure that the product gets to those that need it asap.

The foundation could then negotiate with big Pharma a licensing deal, which provides the 'rights' to the product...including marketing and distribution.

Every one wins, especially the kids that are infected.
