Bega are still in the game, too. All three parties are determined which makes the final outcome difficult to predict. I originally picked $10 as a successful bid price. Now I'm not sure.
Another poster mentioned that Saputo had no hope of achieving 50%. I'm not so sure about this since I think it's possible they can cut a deal with Lion. But they need a higher bid now, as do BGA.
The WCB Board, heavily criticised by Terry McCrann in today's Herald Sun, must be hoping Saputo come to the party!
