July 18 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on Monday:
** Hong Kong-based conglomerate Swire Pacific Ltd 0019.HK said it would buy the packaging and distribution operations of Coca-Cola in Vietnam and Cambodia, marking its expansion into the southeast Asian beverages market.
** North Africa focused gas producer SDX SDX.L said a new group of investors holding more than a quarter of the company's capital and led by trading company Aleph planned to oppose its planned merger with Canada's Tenaz Energy TNZ.TO
** A group led by French investment firm Astorg Asset Management said it would offer to buy Euromoney ERM.L in a deal that could value the British business-to-business information company at 1.66 billion pounds ($1.97 billion)
** Investment company Actis and Mainstream Renewable Power, a company controlled by Norway's Aker Horizons AKH.OL said it has signed an agreement to sell renewable energy company Lekela Power.
** Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) is buying the banking arm of insurer Suncorp Group (SUN) for A$4.9 billion ($3.33 billion), as the smallest of Australia's major lenders seeks to revive growth at home after falling behind rivals.
** Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd (ANZ) said that it withdrew from talks with private equity giant KKR & Co KKR.N to buy software firm MYOB Group, in a deal that local media had pegged at over A$4.5 billion ($3.06 billion)
** New Zealand's infrastructure investment company Infratil Ltd (IFT) said Vodafone New Zealand would sell its passive mobile tower assets for NZ$1.7 billion ($1.05 billion) to funds managed by two global investment firms.
** Egyptian property company Madinet Nasr for Housing and Development MNHD.CA has rebuffed a takeover bid by rival SODIC OCDI.CA , saying on Sunday the offer did not represent the company's true value and calling on SODIC to reconsider it.
