Not sure what last years allowance was but i think it should be in last years investor presentation.
I did notice that IAGs announcement has 20k claims at a cost of 160m, suncorp has 11k claims and $150-170m cost. Either Suncorp customers were very unlucky (or lucky depending on how you look at it) or IAG have ballsed up the estimate!
