Simple programmed selling - if ( npat < expctd_npat ) then sell - nothing more nothing less.
These systems have to have a "value" already installed to take advantage of timing.
So as someone said recently - the only pre-value they have with which to deal is the expected profit - and as gustaaf pointed out above that miss margin is less than 1% but there is no allowance for a +/- margin.
Not very sophisticated but that is now the way of the market. It will bounce - just a pity I paid 90c to get back 40c.
