Oct 18 (Reuters) - Australia's Senex Energy Ltd (SXY) said on Monday that it extended exclusive access to its books to POSCO International Corp 047050.KS to allow the South Korean trader to raise its previously undisclosed A$814.8 million ($605.56 million) takeover bid.

The natural gas producer said POSCO now has until Nov. 5 to better its improved bid of A$4.40 per share, which follows two undisclosed attempts in July and August. ($1 = 1.3455 Australian dollars)
