If the environmental assessment process has been undertaken and the relevant regulatory and approval bofies satisfied then impacts should be relatively minimal.
I would like to see how many locals lives will improve due to increased employment opportunities and revenue streams this site will provide.
Naturally the above is less emotive and gets less air time than a bunch of retirees holding a sign.
