Whenever we re-open it only takes one person with the virus to infect two people, who in turn infect a couple more.... A month of compounding later and we're right back where we started with a huge amount of cases.

Isolation is great if you're a small Pacific island. We seem to be treading water hoping for a medical intervention. Perhaps that's a good bet. I'm not sure. In the meantime the country is adopting a suppression strategy while the states are aiming at isolation and irradication.

I know the SYD share price will turn-around at some point. In 2008 it only felt like the price would fall forever! I can't realistically see what will precipitate a rebound of this stock while Melbourne is locked down and the tourism industry is smashed.
