Sydney Airport Limited (ASX:SYD) recorded its highest average daily passenger numbers in September 2012.



Passenger numbers grew 6.7 per cent across Domestic, International and Domestic on carriage terminals compared to September last year.



Numbers have reached 27,120 for the year to date, a 2.7 per cent increase on the same period last year.



CEO Kerrie Mather says Australian outbound traffic benefited from frequency increases by Jetstar as well as daily low cost services by Air Asia X and Scoot.

Mather says the domestic market recorded a fourth consecutive month of positive growth.



Sydney Airport achieved a net profit of $77.8 million dollars for fiscal 2012.
