News: TABLE-S.Korea's July coal imports up 11.5% y/y

SEOUL, Aug 16 (Reuters) - South Korea's July coal imports rose by 11.5% from a year earlier to 12.05 million tonnes, according to customs data released on Thursday.

Total coal imports are composed of steam coal for power generation and coking coal for steel production.
